Most of the bird members in this group cannot walk, therefore being unable to escape quickly by walking and then flying if they land on thee surface of the ground.

The order Anseriformes is composed of three major bird families which are Anhimidae, Anatidae and Anseranatidae. Anhimidae are the screamers, Anatidae includes the swans, geese and ducks while the Anseranatidae which is also known as the magpie goose
Apteryx Owenii
The little spotted kiwi is a bird belonging in the order Apterygiormes and in the family Apterygidae. They are fairly large birds that weigh between 9 and 13 kg.
